Fans Give Six Of The Best ! (7/01/04)

Big hearted Ayr United fans have dipped into their pockets to raise £6,000 for a Player Fund. But they will be urged for one final push as they chase a target total of £10,000. Trust Chairman and Club Director John Dalton said

" The money has come from supporters' donations but we are still hoping to raise more. Donations can be handed in to the Trust stall which is located at the Somerset Road end of the ground. We are hoping for one big push at the game against Falkirk on Saturday. We have other fund raising ventures planned with two or three interesting ideas in the pipeline."
