First
Partnership Forum
The
first Partnership Forum met recently and you can read about
the outputs by following the Partnership Form link on the left
of the screen. A meeting took place thereafter where all United
fans were invited to come along and listen and discuss the results.
There was also an opportunity for everyone to have an input
into what will be on the agenda for the 2nd partnership forum
meeting. Thanks to everyone who came along and had their say.
The Trust see this as a means to getting a better relationship
and communication between the United fans and the Board at Ayr
United.
Trust
Announce Fan Partnership
The
good relationship between the Board of Ayr United and the Honest
Men Trust took a formal step forward this week. Following positive
discussions between the club’s managing director, Lachlan
Cameron and Fraser McCallum, chairman of the Trust, a Joint
Partnership Forum has been set up to improve liaison between
Trust members and fans and the Board. With nominated representatives
from both organisations, the Forum will mutually address issues
and areas of concerns on a joint agenda basis. It is recognised
that outwith the Cameron family the Trust is one of the club’s
major shareholders and since its formation over two years ago
has assisted the club greatly via its various club and community
initiatives.
There
will be an Open Trust Meeting on 6 March 2006 in the Cariston
Hotel, Miller Road, Ayr at 19.00 Hrs.
The
premise of the Evening is to relate the members, and AUFC fans
generally, the outcome of the 1st Partnership Forum. Additionally
we will be discussing: Possible Agenda for the 2nd Forum, The
extent of The Honest Men Trust's involvement in the Ayr United
Football Academy Limited, and the continuing role of Trust Travel.
If
your interested in coming along then please email Trust Secretary
Neil Bone at neilbone@thehonestmentrust.co.uk
to give an idea of numbers. Thanks for your support in advance.
