Ayr United Football Academy and On Site Health Solutions are delighted to announce a partnership which will provide a 12 week course of football activity, beginning in May, designed to improve the fitness of all involved.

We seek to recruit around 20 men for the programme. If you deem yourself to be unfit, in need of health and exercise advice, or just want to get back into regular physical activity then this programme may be for you. If you would like to join, you will be required to commit between 2-4 hours a week during the course of the 12 week programme.

You will play at least one hour of football each week as well as taking part in some gym time and free health and nutrition advice from professionals from the relevant fields. Full health screenings will be offered at the beginning and end of each programme and monitoring advice will be offered to allow participants to measure the results of the programme as it takes place.

The programme is free of charge and is open to all men over the age of 35, regardless of your football ability or sporting allegiances. It starts on Tuesday 15 May, but places are limited….so DON’T DELAY, reserve your place by contacting Programme Co-ordinator Tony Bryson today at: tony.bryson@aufa.org.uk

Garry Savage of On Site Health Solutions commented:

“We are delighted to be part of the Honest Men’s Health Programme. Working with the Super Ayr Team, we will be providing the health and health promotion days. During and at the end of the programme, participants will be armed with information, advice and guidance to kick start a healthier lifestyle. We are very excited about this joint venture and look forward to participating in the fitness programme too!!”

Tony Bryson, Academy Coach and Honest Men’s Health Programme Co-ordinator, said:

“This will be a fantastic programme for men who are keen to improve their health and fitness and would like to do so in a football environment. We will measure some key fitness based indicators at the beginning and end of the programme and firmly believe that those taking part will see a huge improvement. I am really looking forward to kicking the programme off”
