August 2003 - The first Honest
Men Trust Board is elected.
- September
2003 - John Dalton, the Honest Men Trusts' Chairman,
joins the Ayr United Board Of Directors to give the United supporters
a voice in the boardroom.
- January
2004 - The successful Trust Player Fund closes exceeding
target at £10,283. The Fund helps United secure striker
Graham Brown and midfielders Jamie Doyle and Steven Miller during
the transfer window.
- February
2004 - The Trust raise £1,350 for Alzheimers Scotland
as a mark of respect for Ayr legend, Ally MacLeod.
- March 2004 -The
Trust provide 4 free buses for Ayr fans for the crunch away
game at Kirkcaldy against Raith Rovers

March 2004 -The Trust help
to organise a Mindstore Event bringing local businesses to work
with top motivator Jack Black. In return Black works with the
United staff and squad.

April 2004 - Honest Men Trust
Corporate Fund Raising Board Member David Capperauld is appointed
as the new Chairman of Ayr United

May 2004 - The first Honest Men
FunDay and Sportsmans Dinner raise over £1,800.
Trust give fans the chance to play at Somerset Park.

June 2004 - Craig Brown opens a
6 week Trust organised United Through The Years Ayr United Exhibition
held at Carnegie Library in Ayr. The Exhibition is a huge success
and is well attended by locals and visitors to the town.

October 2004 - The Trust launch the Player Fund to help
finance Uniteds YTS youngsters, including Craig Conway and Stuart
McGrady, as United hit cash flow problems.
Fans are united to raise close to £5,000 for the fund
over the season.

November 2004 - As
promised by Donald Cameron, the Club’s major shareholder,
the Trust’s donation of over £10,300 for the Players
Fund is translated into 51,900 shares in the Club. Taken together
with proxies held on behalf of members The Trust is now the
second biggest shareholder in the Club - albeit a long way behind
Mr. Cameron.

January 2005 - The
Honest Men Trust show their support of grass roots football
in the Ayrshire community by sponsoring training tops for the
newly reformed under 15's Ayr Girls team.
- February 2005 - The
Honest Men Trust show their support of grass roots football
in the Ayrshire community again by sponsoring training tops
for United internet aces and Scottish Champions, KaisAyr.

April 2005 - The
Honest Men Trust provide Ayr United with an employee to assist
with office administration funded by Fraser's Travel.

May 2005 - Kincaidston
win the first ever Honest Men Trust Community Cup which sees
over 16 teams from all over Scotland competing in a football
tournament at KG5 in Ayr. The event was superbly organised by
KaisAyr on the Trusts behalf.

May 2005 - Ayr
United invite the Trust to a Board Meeting and ask for their
assistance in the setting up of committees to run different
areas of the club, for example Stadium, Lottery, MatchDay Operations
and Sponsorship.

June 2005 -
Results
are immediate as 2 members of the Trust help United deliver
the biggest cash sponsorship deal in the Clubs history through
the inaugural Ayr United Shirt Sponsorship Draw. The Trust win
sponsorship of the away shirt for 2005-2006 making them the
first ever Trust in the UK to sponsor their team.

June 2005 -
The
Ayr United Football Academy is launched and includes the Honest
Men Trust as one of the 5 partners, as well as Ayr United, South
Ayrshire Council, the Health Board and Ayr College. Trust representative,
John Dalton, is a key man in putting this idea into practice,
encouraging football, health and education from a young age
within the Ayrshire community.

August 2005 -
The
Honest Men Trust receive a donation of £3,000 from Gretna
owner and Trust supporter, Brooks Mileson, as he shows his support
of our achievements.

August 2005 -
The
Honest Men Trust arrange another successful Open Forum this
time with Robert Connor who impresses the fans with his football
knowledge and honesty.

October 2005 -
The
Honest Men Trust receive National coverage in their Day Of Action
for an Anti-Racism Day at Somerset Park. The Trust sponsor matchday
boards to show their stance and fans of all ages back the day.

November 2005 -
The
Honest Men Trust sponsor United man Chris Robertson for this
season. Chris follows Dougie Ramsay and Ludo Roy as previous
Trust sponsored players.

January 2006 -
The
Trust agree a formal bi-monthly Partnership Forum with Ayr United
to help improve communication with the Ayr United fans.

March 2006 -
The
first Partnership Forum takes place and issues such as Match
Day Catering and the Committee Structures are discussed.

July 2006 -
The
Trust donate £1,000 to support the Ayr United Youth Academy.

October 2006 -
The
Trust arrange a fourteen football tournament at Dam Park Ayr
in support of Give Racism The Red Card. Universal FC and Glasgow
Ansar show their support by joining Ayr United supporters and
teams from Unison, South Ayrshire Council and Hand Of God in
the all day event. Universal FC take the cup but anti racism
is the winner.

October 2006 -
The
Trust arrange a further weekend of action in support of Give
RacismThe Red Card with events taking part at the match at Somerset
Park against Forfar and at the Ayr United Amateurs Scottish
Cup tie against Fernhill Thistle.

December 2006 -
The
Trust announce the launch of their
most ambitious project to date with the aim of securing the
long term future of Ayr United FC via the THMT Centenary Fund.
The Trust plan to invest a substantial sum into the club in
2010, their centenary year, via fans donations in return for
equity in the club.

Eddie
Forrest is the fourth player to pick up the Ally MacLeod Trophy,
the Trust Player Of The Year, in memory of the Ayr United legend
Ally.

July 2007 -
The
Trust agree a 3 year sponsorship, worth £3,600, of the
West Of Scotland Youth League investing in youth football from
age groups 8 - 19 years of age.

August 2007 -
After
sponsoring the matchball this month against Berwick Rangers
this takes the amount forwarded to Ayr United Football Club
to around the £50,000 in services and benefits since our
inception in October 2003.

September 2007 -
The
Trust announce a further sponsorship, this time of Ayr United
internet supporters team, KaisAyr.
